As part of the SMDP experience at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization International Convention (BIO 2026), participants will attend the BIO 2026 Opening Night: The BIO Gives Back Concert. This special evening event brings together members of the global biotechnology community for a night of entertainment, networking and celebration in a vibrant waterfront setting at the San Diego Waterfront Park (1600 Pacific Highway).

The concert provides SMDP participants and industry professionals with an opportunity to connect in a premier business environment while experiencing one of the signature social events of the BIO International Convention. Set against the backdrop of San Diego’s waterfront, the evening reflects the collaborative spirit and global energy of the biotechnology industry.
