The Scholar Mentoring & Development Program (SMDP) is a one-year career mentoring program that pairs students (baccalaureate, master’s and PhD) and early-career researchers with industry mentors from the biotechnology, medical technology and consumer healthcare industries. The 2026 SMDP MedTech Scholars and Mentors will gather in Boston, Massachusetts, October 16 - 21, 2026, for the SMDP MedTech Training Session. The program will include professional development, mentoring, networking and opportunities to engage with leaders across the medical technology industry. Participation details and event information will be provided directly to registered attendees prior to the event.
