Hello Everyone!

All SMDP alumni are invited to attend the Annual SMDP Alumni Program Event on June 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM PT in San Diego, CA.

Following the alumni event, attendees are also invited to join the opening networking event for the 2026 SMDP Biotech Scholars and Mentors from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM PT.

This is a no-cost event. Please note that in-person attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging. If you’re unable to attend in person, a virtual option will be available so everyone can participate.

What to Expect

-Networking lunch with fellow alumni

-Career development help (based on survey responses)

-Town hall with the SMDP Alumni Steering Committee

-Open discussion and idea-sharing

The program will conclude with a call-to-action wrap-up led by Dr. Bill Heath to inspire continued alumni engagement and community building. A detailed agenda will be shared soon.

Important: Registration is required for both In-person and Virtual attendees. Space is limited for in-person attendance and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
