Here's this week's SMDP Mentor Moment
Are five year plans overrated?

Are five year plans overrated

For many people, it is hard to picture five years from now when the present barely gives you a minute to breathe. The idea of having everything mapped out is overwhelming, especially now when life already feels so unpredictable. There are also people who are always talking about these plans and they usually have a clear answer ready when the question comes up. So it is natural for those who find it difficult to picture their lives a few years from now to feel like they are not serious enough about their goals.
